I'm Rachel, the face behind the lens here!

My late grandma (the 'little robin' in my life) was an avid people-watcher, and she passed that gene onto me. I like photographs that capture the story, the spirit of a person, and the relationships between them. I couldn't think of a better career for a people-watcher.

I"m passionate about photography that is truthful - I'm interested in the real magic, and I find that usually happens all by itself, when you're relaxed. That's why there's no complicated props in my sessions, it's just us hanging out with my camera!

I'd like to say you'll find me mostly snuggled up with a book and a nice glass of wine, but in reality I'll be running around after either my dog, Wilson, or my 2 daughters. I've usually got my camera in hand trying to capture every tiny quirk that they develop on a daily basis as I panic about how quickly time is passing...
